Hello!
It is so amazing to wake up to birds chirping! It is so refreshing to know the sun will be out shortly and that you can finally put away the winter coats, hats, scarfs, boots...anything that has anything to do with winter. But... then you walk outside and IT. IS. 19. DEGREES. ! Talk about frustrating... come on Michigan - we are over it, let us have our full 4 seasons, please!?
Work today is pretty laid back. Boss lady is still on vacation with her family, we had a SURPRISE potluck for someone's birthday - of course, we decked out his office last night too... We added more after the picture - we aluminum foiled the Michigan picture on the wall and we hung annoying things from his door and put a Happy Birthday banner across the top of the door. This guy is a scrooge when it comes to Christmas, hence the snowman and the Christmas lights.
So, since we had a potluck I went home for my lunch. I LOVE working close to home. Ja'Maia is on Spring Break this week and Kim doesn't work so they were both home. It was a relaxing lunch. I was glad to share it with them. I was trying to take OOTD pics and, of course, Ja'Maia wanted to be part of them...
She thinks she is too cool for school, apparently

So, obviously we don't make our beds when we have days off
